I can access all the content onhttps://mikrotik.social/@mikrotik, which you made to be Administrator only for login
I'm following you from the mastodon.social server, but it doesn't show all the posts from there (currently 5 of them in total), it only shows 2 of them.

Re: Best hAP ac3 (WifiWave2) settings for highest compatibility[SOLVED]

保持WifiWave2 package disabled since the last post, 0 issues, performance is also satisfying. I consider this solved, I'll be available if someone wants to troubleshoot with me, but either way I'm fine with this, might give it another shot myself many WifiWave2 bugfixes later to check out if it...

Nothing seems to help, I will disable the WifiWave2 package and keep it if it works properly with it

Re: Best hAP ac3 (WifiWave2) settings for highest compatibility[SOLVED]

Well, fair enough, 20dB should be enough, with 17dB I'd barely cover the basement. Is there a reason not to use 23dB if there's no other WiFi on the channel within 40-50 meters?

Re: Best hAP ac3 (WifiWave2) settings for highest compatibility[SOLVED]

Thanks! I will try disabling WPS and setting sae-pwe, wpa3 isn't interesting me right now and I feel like it would make the matter worse, but I can give it a shot as well. 5GHz barely covers the whole house while 2.4GHz is a safe bet, so I'd rather have it always connected to 2.4GHz. I might set an ...

Re: Best hAP ac3 (WifiWave2) settings for highest compatibility[SOLVED]

Well I didn't figure anything out myself. When the phone connects, it connects over 5GHz and work fine, when I kick it it connects to 2GHz and works fine, when I kick it again the phone gives up and throws an exclamation mark. I suppose it's the phone not being tolerant to reconnections... I've sepa...

Best hAP ac3 (WifiWave2) settings for highest compatibility[SOLVED]

Maybe the title itself is not related to the issue I'm currently having, but I was wondering what settings would be best to set on my hAP ac3 with the WifiWave2 package enabled so that it's compatible the most with most of devices that has been released for the past 6-7 years? As of right now I know...

there was a quote of whole precedding post ... no need to do this ... most is able to follow stream of discussion ... use "Post Reply" button Well, I don't understand why each subnet has the .255 address as the broadcast address then. Wouldn't 255.255.255.255 do the trick then? I thought ...

WoL packets not reaching the client in another network[SOLVED]

Hello guys! Waking up the PC inside the same network works properly even though quick sniff shows that the packets are "discarded", WoL also works through the routers WoL tool when the correct interface is selected. Trying to wake up the PC with a magic packet from another network or from ...

Re: How to use a router to turn a LAN printer to wireless

I have not experimented enough to check.. but I am 99% sure that you can use one network on two mikrotiks connected with their wifi's.. I'm not sure what you have to do, but if you manage to bridge LAN network main router and its Wifi connection to the other router.. as well as to bridge wifi connec...

Re: Slow VLAN speed in one direction between two Mikrotik routers[SOLVED]

Yeah, so instead of doing something like this on a bridge between two ports:

You should try this since it might fix the problem:

Re: Slow VLAN speed in one direction between two Mikrotik routers[SOLVED]

So.. apparently it isn't smart to bridge two ports with having VLAN's on the bridge instead of the interfaces if you have one port with 1Gbps router (hAP AC) and the other with 100Mbps (hAP AC Lite)

Slow VLAN speed in one direction between two Mikrotik routers[SOLVED]

Hello all, I used to have hAP AC doing all the routing stuff that I needed, but now that I want to expand the network over my home, I have stumbled upon a weird problem, which I have noticed by testing wifi speed from over my phone, but for testing purposes I'll be explaining it with two routers and...

Re: OpenVPN and LAN access

SSTP怎么样,h吗ave that same limitation as OpenVPN?
I don't have all ports forwarded and only SSTP and OpenVPN seem to allow port choosing.
Also, does SSTP with no certificates and only Secrets password provide encryption*

Re: Set lowest internet bandwidth priority to device[SOLVED]

The reason the shaping of download still somewhat works is that the router can delay the packets as well, instead of simply dropping them. By delaying the packets it will artificially lower the rate. However, in case of torrent this does not work very well because there are so many parallel connect...

Re: Set lowest internet bandwidth priority to device[SOLVED]

It should work OK as you did it, but there are other factors that decide the outcome. E.g. when your ISP has excessive queues and no "fair queueing" (i.e. all packets are sent in the order they arrive at their router and put in a big queue), then an excessive downloader will still starve ...

Set lowest internet bandwidth priority to device[SOLVED]

Hello everyone, I want to make a queue where everyone has Max speed available (20mbps for download and 5mbps upload), but different limit-ats. I have mangled packets by IP, queue shows all speeds perfectly, but I was expecting it to limit queue's with priority 8 and limit-at 500kbps, and that priori...
