Re: Usage GPON module SFP in Spain

[DFP-34G-2C2] Guys! The MikroTik recognizes the SFP module, but I don't know how to conjure up the configuration interface! What do I need to configure on MikroTik? Re: Replacement Module

I repeat, you should not install more than one module in one 433 board.
Hi!
Could you please explain the problem with having multiple WiFi radio cards in the [RB433x] at the same time?

In this case I would use [RBDiscG-5acD] and [RBLHGG-5acD-XL].

Re: Replacement Module

They have switched to the "miniPCI-express" format.
So as far as I know, the old radios are unfortunately no longer usable in the newer RouterBOARDs.
In addition, the RB433 series handled 3 cards.

I'm curious to hear others' opinions on the subject.

Re: Bricked RB3011 (RESOLVED)

Hi!
Thanks for the tip!

Looks like the file system is "SquashFS".
And the compression method is probably "LZMA".
And indeed, I found the file "ipq8060-6.49.8.fwf" (latest Long-term) in the /etc directory.

Most recommendations are not to use it unless disabling it prevents some function you need.
Okay, okay!
But how is it possible, that it bypasses the output chain???

Re: mikrotik 760igs

First of all, your MikroTik device is code [RB760iGS] and Ubiquiti is code [UAP-LR]. The RB760iGS PoE can supply 500 mA between 18-57 V. The UAP-LR requires 6 W of power. This is 333 mA in the worst case. So you're not destroying the device. Since there is no information on PoE capabilities below 18...

Unfortunately, if someone doesn't understand something or can't do something, they tend to reject it. This is the result of education. It is a simple claim by the questioner: He wants to connect two (or more) bridges. Just as you would do with the physical ports of a Mikrotik router from the outside...
