Re: Wave2 Wifi Hardware

If there are 10 - 15 access points in the network, CAPsMAN is what you need.

Re: cAP vs cAP XL

I have been using CAP ac for several years, and now I have got CAP XL ac. Taking this opportunity, I made a comparison of access points at home. My conditions: walls made of reinforced concrete. A large number of neighboring access points operate in the 2.4 GHz band (about 20 with a signal level gre...

Re: RB260GS EOL?[SOLVED]

Managed switch 1SFP + 5 1G ports with POE in for $ 40? I don't know any alternative. It is very convenient to use for connecting a small number of clients. Our first such switch has been successfully working for over 10 years:)

Re: v7.1rc4 [development] is released!

The configuration disappeared after upgrading my RB450Gx4 from RC3 to RC4 -. It's great that I made a backup:)
cAP ac (Caps-man mode) as well as RB750Gr3 and hAPac2 did not lose configuration

Re: SwOS version 2.13 released!

Successfully upgraded five CSS106-5G-1S in our network (via VPN remote access to our network). But during the update process there are problems: 1. Using Firefox could not update (including manual update) 2. Using Chrome I updated it, but in four cases out of five the firmware was updated only after...

Re: RB4011 random reboots

I have an RB450Gx4 (same CPU as in hAP ac²) with "real" NTP package. And I don't have any random router reboots.

Re: One power supply for 2 devices[SOLVED]

This is not about a "large overvoltage" - all the devices are in the same room, connected to the same LAN and are powered from the same source. All external links are fiber optic. Will several Mikrotik devices work stably if connect them, in addition to the main power supply, to a single b...

Re: One power supply for 2 devices[SOLVED]

As for ensuring sufficient power supply, this is a necessary condition. I'm more interested in the stability of devices connected to the same power source. With this connection, the “minus” DC of all devices is connected to one point, there is no galvanic isolation.

Re: One power supply for 2 devices[SOLVED]

Also, I have a similar question. I would like to know if I can connect several (3-5-10) Mikrotik devices via PoE to one backup power supply of the required power. Will such a connection cause unstable operation of devices.
