In all honety I wasn't looking at the PoE outputs because I've only ever used Injectors. That would mean about 1Amp each at 28V so yeah no go, It wouldn't be a problem but my Hap ax2 has a faulty power socket which I am now going to have to change, I do have the sockets I just need to install it. So far so good for me, except small problem with AC getting sa querry timeouts every 2-3 minutes for few days. Right now i think is good but i will continue to monitor situation. I have 1 device that jumps between 5G and 2.4G on the same AP a hAP ax2, drives me nuts but I'm pretty sure it's a duff ...

Updated to 7.11rc1, noticed frequent SA Query timeouts, like every 2-3 minutes for my air conditioner, no problem with signal as both AC and AP are in the same room, signal level is -41
Which beta did you come from 5 or 7?

Of course you can just keep using Wireguard. This new feature is also using Wireguard, but it has one advantage, it can work even if your router has no public IP

Silly question, but is it safe to just use the wireguard app with the QR code as I already installed that on the other-halves phone which seems to work ok but took ages to connect? Android by the way.

Even Zoomed all the way out I couldn't see all of the QR image. If I zoom out first it only shows Half of the image.
Display 1440x900 so that might be the problem.

Also for me the 7.11beta4 version fixed the problems with the wireless, it had been unstable for months. Finally a stable wireless connection and no more phone calls for complaints... The Back To Home process will activate wireguard on your router and setup a dedicated tunnel, make some IP pool, some firewall rules (? didn't check?), .... It should not break anything else but since this is so new, I wouldn't do this on a device which you need to be operating for others. At home ...

Also, I started to receive radar detection messages on one of the CAP's but not on the other one... And frequencies are all over the place... I've not had any issue so far on my cAp-ax fingers crossed. Also intresting to note that devices in CAPSMANN AP and Router configuration are showing the same...

I'm having a much better exerience with hAP ax2 7.11-Alpha127 (7.11Beta2) Installed beta2 on cAP ax today no issues do far, also notice since 7.7 the Radar Detection problems I was having have gone so thats a Big Plus. speeds and signal have varied since 7.5 on my hAP ax2 at least so it's an on-goin...

Yeah it's just the 1 device that has played up so far, thats a wpa2 only device that Apple refuses to stop supporting gah!
I've moved on to testing Auto now and seeing how I get on with the "radar detected" situation I was having fun with last time I tried.

Yes manually set just to check what I was using like for like. I'm updating the cAP ax tomorrow if the hAP ax2 keeps behaving itself.

I'm testing the hAP ax with no changes at all. 5 hour uptime all devices, no devices dropped or giving errors so far so very positive today. After 12 days I got PMKSA error with new phone, but after disabling and then enabling phone's wifi i got no error and phone connects to 5GHz radio. I will pay more attention to logs for a few days now just to see if this is some kind of one time error now or it will get more common. Same here about...

cAP ax, ax2, ax3 no PMKSA error when using WPA2/WPA3 for now, tested with Samsung S10, 2 x Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, Laptop with Intel AX200 WiFi card.

I installed the 7.10b5 + firmware and it lasted a few hours before showing the "key handshake timeout" errors again so I had to reboot it. I have a router that needs rebooting 1-2 a day and a support ticket with zero response from Mikrotik. Ridiculous... I'll process a refund on the devic...

I deleted my fastforward rule instead of dissabling it when I started using QOS. I am having a bit of a problem with QOS at the moment and would like to disable that and re-instate the fastforward firewall rule. Can anybody give me a leg-up please. firewalls arn't my strong point! hAP-ax

The only thing I can find in my configuration of 7.10b5 is QOS simple queues Upstream isn't working as expected. But even better news, switching over to FQ_Codel is working very well. WiFi in general seems a lot more stable.

我的帽子ax关灯(中心按钮)按钮而不是我们rking 7.9rc3, If i go to System/LEDs/All LEDs Off/immediate it works fine.
Just aside note, I didn't check the function on the factory installed version. Would be great if someone could check thanks.

I have a Hap ax^2 and would like to extend my WiFi with a cAP ax WiFi-6 Device. Will roaming work between both of these devices. Also does this make sense for a home network or would I be better off buying an RB5009 and 2XcAP ax's even though I only have a 200MB connection.
