L2TP parameters from L2TP session

Hi Folks We are using Mikrotiks to terminate L2TP sessions from VDSL and ADSL providers here in UK. We get useful info in the rfc2661 headers from the telco TX Connect Speed and RX Connect speed during the setup : Examples: Mar/04/2020 17:49:29 l2tp,debug,packet Rx-Connect-Speed=19999000 Mar/04/2020...

Re: PPPoE MSS clamp no working on upgrade

I think I've also seen this issue on 6.40.8 and 6.42.9

Is there a workaround other than re-inserting the mangle rules manually, or running on an MTU of 1500 for pppoe (which also worked as a fix)

Trying to work out if I should waste my time trying a 320 metre link with a pair of Wireless Wires?

Don't need 1Gbit - I'd be happy with 200 bit. Is this going to fly based on people's experience with latest firmware?

I'm kinda keen to see some more helpful SNMP OIDs soon - as it would be really useful to see how the link behaves in bad weather. e.g. coding scheme, and RX and Tx sig strength?

Re: Odd queue behaviour 6.39.3 between pppoe-client and pppoe-server

Interestingly, I've discovered that the 'use IP firewall for PPPoE' was checked. Unchecking this seems to cause expected queue behaviour.

所以我think the issue is resolved but I'm a bit baffled that this option would cause the queues to not operate as expected?

Odd queue behaviour 6.39.3 between pppoe-client and pppoe-server

I have found a somewhat subtle bug in the latest stable firmware. It is there in earlier code as well. Here is the basic configuration: Internet --- | pppoe Client - router - pppoe server| --- Customer CPE We assign a simple queue to each customer's pppoe connection via Radius profile, e.g. 20 mbit ...
