I think they are talking POE out, not in.Are you guys(?) using GB compatible POE injectors?

Passive DAC is limited to 5 meter anyway, most common are 1 meter or 3 meter, but anything longer then 5m is active in theory.Interesting indeed... wonder about other SFPs as well.
Being able to use passive DAC is great news, even if it might be limited to shorter cables.
Thank you for the tests, sounds very good so far, keep them coming!just tested a 4011 - i paired it up with a CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+ using GE only.
Why are you reviving a topic from 2010?! Come on.Dears,
Can this be done through GUI or it's just via CLI?
No, hooking it up should be plenty. Maybe check the ports power configuration but other then that, the wAP AC should just boot up when connected.Yes, I did. Hope the RB3011 isn't broken.
做es the RB3011 need to be fully configured for this to work and have a working internet connection?
Yes, that part should work fine. I'm currently powering my hAP AC and wAP AC using a Ubiquiti 24v passive injector, no issues. Will the ubiquiti instant 802.3af to passive poe adapter work in powering the HAP AC? i.e one side into a netgar GS110tp - the other side into ether1 of the HAP.
Ah, that's good to know. I will update my video! Those are not uFL connectors, they are factory test points. End user has no use for them. You can't connect antennas to the wAP (ac)
I'm not sure if anything got lost in translation or not, but yes the CCR1009 is a fully managed router supporting all the features of Mikrotik RouterOS.Is the Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-S+ a managed router or not?

But did you try both ports? Or only the one labelled 5v? Next to the other one I do see a mosfet on the board.I was totally unable to get the fan to turn. Maybe the components required had been omitted, who knows, but my advice would be to play safe and hook directly to the power supply output.
Ah, my bad, 1080p at 20Mbit is awesome! We streamed Turkey MUM in full quality 1080p at 20Mbit.
Indonesia does not have such good internet connection, so we had to lower the bandwidth and resolution
Here is the Turkey live stream copy:https://youtu.be/yA77-M0FiC0
Yes, exactly this.My RB-1100AHx2 gives me 920+ Mbps NAT performance at 85% processor load (RDS speed test).
So anything equal or faster will do (meaning CCRs).
Good to hear! 975 is definitely the absolute maximum you can push through a gigabit link so that's working well! Many thanks Quindor for your remark!!!
I've tested it using iperf, and finally received more or less truth results: about 975 MBit/s.
Regards.
Krzysztof
Yes, the switch chip has a so called non-blocking design. That means each port can be used simultaniously full-duplex.What is the total switching capacity of this switch? I mean to say, can it handle two 10 gig SFP+ links with all other 24 ports almost utilizing full 1 gig bandwidth each ?
Can you ping something on the internet from the routerboard itself? It didn't work, I already tried that. The ISP tells me everything is normal from their end.
I advise to put it on autobtest is the bandwidth test utility MikroTik has available for download.
Checked flow control, it is off for tx and rx.
I have another RB2011, maybe I'll connect it via gigabit and run a bandwidth test between the 2 ruling out the Windows boxes.
You are paying for the link right? Just ask them to set it to the specified settings and they should? Thanks for info.
I only have access to my side of the link, the other ends are at provider PoP's. So I guess I'm stuck with 1100AHx2...
