Re: L2TP + IPsec crashes on 4011

I've found the same problem on RouterOS7rc4 and CCR1009-7G, all l2tp connection both with and without ipsec can't connect after running just fine for few days. After reboot all L2TP connections now working just fine. I have a similar problem when using L2TP/IPsec to connect from a device running 7....

L2TP + IPsec crashes on 4011

Hello, Anyone experiencing L2TP over IPsec crashes on 7.1? Tested on 7.1rc3 and 7.1rc2... A brief about the issue: On my setup, I’ve a couple of L2TP + IPsec clients; For each tunnel, a NAT masquerade rule for output. Then I start to transfer data thought the VPNs (SSH, Winbox, etc.), the tunnel han...

Re: ZeroTier added to RouterOS v7.1rc2

For those who interested in encryption hardware offload on ZT. I've asked on ZeroTire forum about support of ARM 32bit platforms and especially Mikrotik. And that's what they answered: For one, we do not maintain the port to Mikrotik devices. Mikrotik is doing that themselves. Secondly, no ARM32 pl...

Re: ZeroTier added to RouterOS v7.1rc2

Since version 1.6.0 ZT has new AES-GMAC-SIV encryption mode, which is supported in hardware accelerated engines. So the question is still open. This is what they say in Release Notes: Oh, I missed that in the 1.6.0 changelog. Nice! They still need to support the Salsa20/Poly1305 option in code, bot...

Re: ZeroTier added to RouterOS v7.1rc2

ZeroTier uses Salsa20 to encrypt and Poly1305 to authenticate packets. As far as I know these are (very fast but) software-only algorithms and can't be offloaded to the hardware for acceleration. Since version 1.6.0 ZT has new AES-GMAC-SIV encryption mode, which is supported in hardware accelerated...

Re: ZeroTier added to RouterOS v7.1rc2

First of all, great work on bringing ZT to the platform!

A question about encryption: what about the hardware acceleration? All models that supports IPsec HW will offload ZT’s encryption?

Re: How to setup WiFi calling (aka VoWIFI) on mikrotik

Hello Martin,

In my case, the iPhone still connect to IMS core and I can even make and receive calls...but it looses the registry regularly and fallbacks to the cellular network.

I’ve tested on a simple TP-Link mesh router, and this symptom doesn’t occurs.

Very odd... :-/

Re: How to setup WiFi calling (aka VoWIFI) on mikrotik

Hello,

I've got a similar problem...look:viewtopic.php?f=2&t=162126

Apparently it's some kind of IPsec passthrough issue on Mikrotik...unfortunately I've haven't found a way to solve this yet. May be the Mikrotik team can help us on that issue...

Regards,
Rodrigo

IPsec passthrough issue (WiFi Calling)

Hi, I've noticed my iPhone is loosing the WiFi Calling registry a couple times a day...sometimes I'm facing call drops also. I tried nearly everything to mitigate the issue...but no success. Some details about my environment: -No firewall filter rules -Only a masquerade NAT rule on the PPPoE client ...
