Re: WinBox v3.30 released!

As a new user of Mikrotik I wonder, how a software that looks 1:1 the same on screenshots on some MUM slides from 2013, has still so many bugs to fix in 2021. Looks same, works different. Just zoom-in! New features always comes with new bugs. Product development cycle. IMHO MikroTik relies a lot on...

Weird column selection behavior, please fix

Example:
Selecting Dst in the columns list - > no effect
Unselecting Target in the columns list - > no effect

Copy-paste hotkeys and double-click selection works great even on M1 mac, thank you!

You have to use aes 128 to run HW acceleration.
Do you mean aes-128-cbc?
I've tried both, almost no change. I do't see "encryption" row in profiler on RB850gx2, what does it mean? I think it uses hardware encryption.

150$ and is able to encrypt OpenVPN at least at 150Mbit+ due to it's AES hardware encryption feature. I'g gonna take this device soon and share results.
Multicore Mikrotiks do not support metarouter. This includes the 850gx2
That's bad.. The only solution is to l2tp/ipsec.

Got a new idea =) Try to define a static route to any random pingable ip (like 8.8.8.8) thu a certain interface gateway. As i know, ROS is able to determine a gateway's IP it was set dynamically via DHCP Client. Next is netwatch the 8.8.8.8. Once the static route is set, the 8.8.8.8 shouldn't be abl...

If you do it that way, how can you get notified via email?
Use netwatch tool, add a gateway's known static ip address to watch list and define e-mail scripts for UP and DOWN events.
