Opening and introduction, new products

Opening and introduction, new products

Fan out - CCR goes modular!

Presentation is about a crafty way how you can set up a ccr (or theoretically anything, but from performance scope
ccrs make only sense) with one or more CRS boxes to effectively create satellite ports with all the features available
在CCR configuratio——没有广泛的开关n while keeping the flexibility and easy provisioning/troubleshooting.

The second part comes up with some “real life” deployments where the explained setup can be used.

It also includes some explanation about IEEE802.1q and IEEE802.1ad, and config snippets to explain the way of working.

Managing 1500 MikroTiks with a single click

How to manage thousands of MikroTiks with a single click; or how to automate configuration management, backup and provisioning in mass-scale uniform networks.

Work time registration and trace of employees with MikroTik routers using CAPsMAN and API

The presentation shows how we can build simple WiFi coverage using CAPsMAN and presents some type of MikroTik AP-s at different geometry places.
Our system provide additional services: traces the employees based on theyre Handy's MAC and IP addresses and sends personal messages them if needed. Our web based software handles some functions on MikroTik (e.g. Wireless Access List, Registration Table, DHCP Leases, etc.) continuously using API.

Wireless new features and improvements

Wireless new features and improvements

Unified user management with Radius

How to implement a unified user management system in your whole network (effectively creating an SSO system for your network devices). Basics of Radius will be covered, as well as showing how to setup FreeRadius and Microsoft NPS Radius against AD. Of course, how to configure Radius and user management on MikroTik will also be covered.

Create Public Wifi Hotspot (Free/Pay per Use/Social) with Mikrotik Devices

It's easy to create public wifi hotspot with Mikrotik devices with Router OS license level 4 or above. Free solutions: clickthrough, voucher, sms authentication, social login (facebook, twitter). Pay per use solution: credit, card with local currencies, voucher, paypal, etc.

RouterOS devices in the Virtual lab

The workshop shows that how to use the Cloud Hosted Router (CHR) as powerful learning and testing tool for proofing the working concept in different network applications. Short live demo presents about how to intergrate CHR as virtual machine in a single PC.
