Case study on deployment of RouterOS products in Africa
We explore the challenges facing Network admins, ISPs/WISPs and enterprises at large and how RouterOS has bridged the gap to ease the pain.
Load balancing and failover in RouterOS
Using more than one internet connection to balance traffic for higher throughput and failover using per-connection classifier and policy routing
How IPv6 Changes the world
Im Sure all of you are already noticed, but I'd like to warn you again that IPv4 runs out, world is IPv6 world, and there is no doubt that in near future, there will be no option more than IPv6 to route the world,
Let's see what it is
Quality of Service in Wireless,Bridge PTP Link
MikroTik RouterOS offer a very powerful and extremely flexible QoS in wireless environment.
MikroTik SwitchOS Basic VLAN Configuration
Basic VLAN configuration, Port Grouping, Trunk, Tagging, isolation on RB260GSP & CSS326.
Data Center Interconnect (EoIP)
We are going to connect two data centers placed at two different geographical locations over Layer 3 IP based network infrastructure.
Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and connecting to an Internet eXchange Point (IXP)
Many small to medium ISPs have built their networks using the MikroTik range of products and transit from their network via a Point to Point link to an upstream provider. The upstream provider is in the position of strength as they typically provide IP addressing from their own block and therefore it is hard to switch. Additionally their customers may not be benefiting from the IXP keeping local traffic local. By simply applying to AFRINIC for an AS number and their own IP address range the ISP can connect to the IXP as well as increase the number of upstream providers they can connect to. This presentation will demonstrate how the BGP protocol is configured to achieve this.
雷竞技网站Mikrotik大学
Intercampus connectivity with MikroTik. I wish to demonstrate on my presentation how we have benefited as a University as a result of implementing MikroTik.
MikroTik and the Cloud
MikroTik implementation for the cloud - Cloud Hosted Router (CHR), use cases. The case for a hardware cloud appliance.
